My overall intent of the image was to show qualities that I believe are very important to have. My first layer is a photo of a firework in the sky. The firework represents enthusiasm and excitement, which I find to be an awesome quality. My second layer is a photo of leaves on the ground. The leaves represent humility. Staying to the ground and being humble is something I've always found to be an important quality. My last layer is a picture of the clouds in the sky. The clouds represent perseverance. I believe it's always important to strive to be the best of your abilities and realize that the sky is the limit. While completing this project, I used the opacity percentage and the magic brush and lasso tool to help me along the way. My overall intent of the image was to show important qualities within a person.
I think that my photography has drastically improved since the selfie. When I did my first project, I was not sure how to use Adobe Photoshop at all. Since I've learned how to use it my photo editing has been much. Also, I learned how to become stronger with taking the photo itself. I learned how to take photos at the right time of day without any background distractions. My Double Exposure project is much better than my selfie because of these skills I've learnt in this class.
