Artist Statement: took this photo at the park of my park. I thought the lighting through trees was really cool. I took this photo with my camera facing up. I though that this was a cool photo to take because if leaves were on those trees, I would not be able to take a photo like this. Me and my brothers have got to play basketball at this park a lot and have had to go into those trees to chase down that ball.

Artist Statement: I took this photo off a trail at the park in my neighborhood. I thought it was interesting to see how this tree was chopped down to such a short height. I could tell by the amount of rings in the tree that was very old, which made sad to see it's gone. I took one of these photos from eye level pointed slightly down. The other photo was taken straight forward at chest level. I though this photo was cool because it shows all the fallen leaves on the ground while the trees have anything.

I took this photo at the park. There is a trail at this park that leads to this pond. I though this was a good spot to take a photo because this spot is rarely visited. This spot is ruled by the animals, mostly by the amphibians. I have not gone to this area a lot. It is a long route back there, and going by yourself is scary. However, once I got there I realized it was worth it. I took these photos from the top angle and then crouched down to take down from knee level.
I took this photo in my backyard. My backyard has been a place where I've spent a lot of time in my life. I've played baseball, football, and many other sports with my friends and family back there. I though this would be a cool place to take photos because it contains trees with and without leaves. It also shows the different shades of grass at this time of the year which I thought created good contrast. I took this photo from my driveway, so I could create an angle that captures the trees and grass. I also took some of the photos of just the trees and the sky. I though it was cool how tall the trees actually were.
Artist Statement: I chose to take a photo of the hills because I though it was a really cool place to shoot. In order to reach the trees in the back of the photo, you would have to defeat the hills as an obstacle. I thought the formation the hills were in was cool. There were multiple hills, so it was a tough decision on where to take the photo. I had been to this location with my family multiple times in the park, so I believed that it would be a good place to capture photos.
